BTS to appear on YouTube talk show 'Hot Ones'

BTS is set to appear on the American YouTube talk show "Hot Ones" (2015-) on Thursday.

The boy band will serve as the guest for the show's 29th season finale.

The popular series challenges celebrities to answer increasingly in-depth questions while eating progressively spicier chicken wings.

Previously, K-pop stars such as CL of 2NE1 and Lisa, Rosé and Jennie of Blackpink have also made their appearances on the show separately.

The announcement came Monday, when "Hot Ones" released a teaser video online featuring the show's host and creator Sean Evans, who opened the video with what he called a "very exciting announcement."

"They flew all the way across the world to be here at this table," Evans said. "And while we're on the topic of tables, it's the largest one the studio has ever seen. We've got seven chairs, seven sets of wings. Including me, that's 80 wings on the table, a 'Hot Ones' record."

Evans closed the teaser with a playful nod to BTS's hits, saying, "It's gonna be dynamite. Smooth like butter."

It will be released at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on the First We Feast's YouTube channel.
