Girl group ILLIT unveiled the detailed schedule for the “ILLIT Seoul Children’s Grand Park Festival,” which will take place at Seoul Children's Grand Park in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, on Tuesday, via the group’s official social media channels on Saturday.
According to the announcement, multiple hands-on activities for families and friends to enjoy together will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at an open plaza in the park.
Events will include an ILLIT-themed rhythm game; a “DearLit” sun-hat decorating station centered on the group’s characters; face painting; and photo zones. Visitors can collect stickers at each booth, and those who experience every one will receive a special gift.
According to ILLIT’s agency, Cube Entertainment, the festival was designed to celebrate the release of the group’s fourth EP “Mamihlapinatapai,” with its lead track “It’s Me,” which was released on Thursday, serving as the festival’s theme.
An audience-participation stage will also take place at the same venue. During the first part of the event, which will be formatted like a contest and begins at 1 p.m., visitors will be able to freely showcase their talents by performing along to ILLIT’s songs.
For the second part, starting at approximately 4 p.m., attendees will have a chance to learn key choreography from the group’s new song directly from ILLIT’s choreographer before competing in a dance challenge. The event is expected to allow visitors to take center stage and actively participate in the festival.
The festival will end with ILLIT's performance at the outdoor stage at 6 p.m. Cube Entertainment said that the group will perform its signature tracks, including “It’s Me.”
ILLIT, comprising members Yunah, Minju, Moka Wonhee and Iorha, debuted in 2023 and is known for songs such as “Magnetic” (2024) and “Lucky Girl Syndrome” (2024).
