Boy band BTS has topped Spotify's charts for a second consecutive week with their latest album, “Arirang,” their agency said Saturday.
The group maintained the No. 1 spot on three of Spotify’s weekly global charts — Weekly Top Albums, Weekly Top Songs and Weekly Top Artists — covering the week from March 27 to Thursday, according to BigHit Music.
BTS also dominated Spotify’s daily charts, holding first place on Daily Top Artists Global and Daily Top Songs Global for the second week in a row from March 20, when the album was released, to Thursday.
The album's lead track, “Swim,” has also topped YouTube's weekly charts, ranking No. 1 on the Global Top Songs chart with 83 million views as well as No. 1 on the U.S. Top Songs chart with 6.2 million streams between March 20 and March 26.
“Arirang” has further topped Australia’s ARIA top 50 albums chart for two consecutive weeks.
After ending their nearly four-year hiatus with a performance at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on March 21, the seven-member group is set to launch its "Arirang" world tour starting in Goyang, Gyeonggi, on Thursday, with performances planned in major cities worldwide through 2027.
