NEXZ unveils second single 'Mmchk' during showcase in Seoul — in pictures

Boy band NEXZ held a showcase at Blue Square in central Seoul on Monday ahead of the release of its second single “Mmchk.”

During the media event, the seven members — Tomoya, Yu, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, Haru, and Yuki — posed for photos, spoke about the creative process behind the new album and performed for the media.

“Mmchk” comes six months after the group’s previous release “Beat-Boxer,” which came out in October last year. The single features the lead track “Mmchk,” the B-side “Hypeman” and the English version of “Mmchk.” The members actively participated in the creation of the album, with Hyui, Yuki and Tomoya contributing to the lyrics of the lead track, while Yuki and Tomoya solely wrote the lyrics for “Hypeman.”

The group will hold the “NEXZ comeback showcase ‘Mmchk’” for fans on the same day at 8 p.m. and is set to visit Taipei on May 4, Hong Kong on June 6 and Bangkok on July 4 as part of its global showcases. Additional locations are expected to be announced later.
