iKON to hold concerts in May, first shows since 4 members returned from military service

Boy band iKON [143 ENTERTAINMENT]

Boy band iKON will hold two concerts in May for the first time in two years since four members returned from their military service, the group's agency 143 Entertainment said Thursday.

The band will hold two concerts as part of the "iKON Fourever Tour" at the Jangchung Arena in Jung District, central Seoul, on May 16 and 17. No other dates were confirmed for the "global tour" by 143 Entertainment.

Members Jinhwan, Chanwoo, Bobby and Yunhyeong will perform, while Ju-ne and DK remain in military service.

The Seoul concerts are iKON's first since 2024, when the band held smaller fan concerts as a six-member unit.

The shows will feature a setlist made of the band's biggest hits, and are designed for close interaction with the fans, 143 Entertainment said.

iKON was formed by YG Entertainment through two consecutive reality shows "WIN: Who is Next" (2013) and "Mix & Match" (2014). The band debuted in 2015 with "My Type." Rapper B.I left the band in 2019 following allegations of illegal drug use, which he later admitted.

The band is known for hits like "Love Scenario" (2018) and "Killing Me" (2018).

Members Jinhwan and Bobby have released or featured on songs since their release from the military, with the latter set to perform on an episode of Mnet's hit hip-hop survival show "Show Me the Money 12" that will air on Thursday.
