The band hrtz.wav will make its official debut on April 8, its agency Kakao Entertainment said Wednesday.

hrtz.wav will release its first EP, “The First Wave,” on April 8 and begin promotions the same day, according to Kakao Entertainment.

The band's five members, Young-jun, Keiten, Hagiwa, Riaan and Dane, will each play an instrument or sing. A concept photo was released on Tuesday at midnight on hrtz.wav’s official social media accounts.

hrtz.wav was formed through Mnet’s band survival program, “Steal Heart Club” (2025). Contestants in each category of vocals, keyboard, bass, guitar and drum competed for the final spots in the band.

hrtz.wav is set to perform from May 8 to 10 at KCON 2026 in Japan as a special performer.
