Blackpink's 'Deadline' pop-up stores to expand to major cities across the world after Seoul run

Blackpink will expand the locations of its official pop-up stores, which first opened in Seoul, to major cities across the world to mark the release of its latest EP “Deadline,” YG Plus said on Tuesday.
 
The pop-ups at Musinsa Standard Seongsu and Musinsa Store Myeongdong will run through Sunday before expanding to Asia, the Americas, Europe and Oceania.

In Asia, the stores will open in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Changsha and Xi'an in China; Macau; Singapore; Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan; Malaysia; Hong Kong; Jakarta, Indonesia; Manila; and Bangkok.
 
In the Americas, the store will open in Los Angeles and Brazil. In Europe, it will do the same in Paris, followed by cities in Spain. 
 
In Oceania, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia will host the pop-up.
 
Only a few venues have been revealed, such as Siam Discovery in Bangkok, Lotte Mall in Jakarta, SM Mall of Asia in Manila and Breeze Nan Shan in Taipei. 
 
More details regarding the remaining store locations and opening dates will be announced at a later date.
 
The pop-ups will sell merchandise centered on the new album and its title track, “GO.”

“These stores aim to recreate Blackpink's global presence in an offline retail store environment,” said YG Plus. “Each store will be designed to reflect its host city's unique environment and fan demand.”
 
“Deadline” marks the band's first release in three years and five months.
 
Blackpink debuted in 2016 with the single “Square One.” The group, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, is known for songs such as “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2018), “How You Like That” (2020), “Pink Venom” (2022) and “Shut Down” (2022).
