SM Entertainment has begun celebrating its 30th anniversary, which takes place next year, the agency said Wednesday.


The company kicked off its celebratory project on Wednesday with a brand video titled "The Culture." The film showcases nostalgic moments where fans embrace their favorite artists' hairstyles or dance with family to iconic songs, highlighting the company's enduring influence on popular culture.

On the same day, the agency announced its plans to launch a series of online and offline events, including a large-scale concert, a special album featuring its artists and a unique orchestral performance blending K-pop and classical music. 
 
The agency also unveiled its new direction, which "symbolizes the company's continued growth and leadership in the K-pop industry," according to the agency. The project's slogan “30 years and more" encapsulates “SM's commitment to shaping the future of K-pop," the agency said. 
 
Founded by former singer Lee Soo-man on Feb. 14, 1995, SM Entertainment has since rolled out famous K-pop acts like BoA, TVXQ, Girls' Generation, Super Junior and EXO.
