aespa to release fifth EP 'Whiplash' next month

Girl group aespa is set to release its fifth EP “Whiplash” on Oct. 21, SM Entertainment said Monday.

The EP will include six tracks, including the title track.

More information about “Whiplash” will be unveiled at a later date.

The group is currently in the middle of its second world tour “SYNK: Parallel Line.” Starting with Seoul in late June, aespa performed in Japan, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Australia. The Thailand leg is set for Saturday and Sunday.

SM Entertainment said that the world tour will expand to the European and American regions.

“Whiplash” begins presales both online and offline on Monday.
