VVUP’s Kim tops poll for K-pop star with the most unexpected charms
The Indonesian singer topped a Picnic fan vote, with supporters praising her striking stage presence and approachable offstage appeal as well as her trilingual ability.

Kim, the Indonesian member of girl group VVUP, has been selected as the artist with the most unexpected charms among K-pop stars born under the Gemini zodiac sign, according to a vote on the fan platform Picnic.
In the poll, which ran from May 22 to June 5, Kim won with 163,747 votes. Boy band Blitzers’ Juhan came in second with 157,979 votes, followed by girl group Kiiras’ Japanese member Kurumi with 66,101 votes.
According to Picnic, Kim’s selection can be attributed to the contrasting charms she shows on and off stage.
Picnic said Kim displays strong charisma on stage but also a bright, approachable side when communicating with fans. The platform also highlighted that Kim is known as a trilingual artist who speaks Indonesian, English and Korean, giving her an advantage in naturally communicating with global fans.
“We believe that an artist’s brand value is now evaluated not only based on their visual appeal or music performance, but also on how well they can pull off a variety of concepts,” a spokesperson for Picnic said.
