Girl group Katseye member Lara's song “Unloveu” was released on streaming platforms on Thursday as an official single.

The song was previously released as an “Exclusive bonus track” on a limited edition of the girl group's third EP “Wild,” released in August.

The ballad, cowritten by member Lara, talks about the moment of finally letting go of someone who once held on tight. The song contrasts from the rest of the songs in the EP, which are punchy and high energy, according to HYBE.

Lara wrote the song with producer Ross Golan, who has worked with artists like Maroon 5 and Justin Bieber, and Grammy-winning songwriter Amy Allen, who previously worked with Sabrina Carpenter.

“Wild,” released on Aug. 14, debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release.

Katseye was formed by HYBE and Geffen Records through the audition program “The Debut: Dream Academy” in 2023. The group consists of six members: Manon, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae. Manon and Sophia are currently on hiatus from the group.
