Boy band Stray Kids' Lee Know donated 100 million won ($72,600) to support children and families affected by the flood in Nepal, his agency JYP Entertainment said Sunday.

Lee Know made the donation to the humanitarian organization World Vision on Friday and asked that it be used for emergency relief and support for families whose homes and livelihoods were hit by the flood in Nepal.

"I hope my support can offer a little strength to those going through this difficult time," Lee Know said through JYP Entertainment in a press release on Sunday. "I sincerely hope that those affected by the floods and everyone working on relief efforts in the field can return to peaceful daily life as soon as possible."

World Vision will use the funds for food, temporary shelter, clean water and sanitation.

The Stray Kids member has been sponsoring children through World Vision since 2014. He also donated 100 million won to the charity in 2024 to help respond to the global food crisis.

Last year, he donated 100 million won to the Samsung Medical Center and another 100 million won to a cat rescue group. Stray Kids as a group has also donated to disaster relief in Korea and in Hong Kong.

The band released the EP "This & That" on Aug. 7, with the record landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The octet is currently in the middle of its "Run It" world tour, which kicked off at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul on July 25.
