Ateez to release new EP 'Golden Hour: Part 5' on June 26
Boy band Ateez will release new music on June 26, the band's agency KQ Entertainment announced Friday.
Titled "Golden Hour: Part 5," its teaser was released on the same day on Ateez's official YouTube channel.
The clip shows a constantly shifting form — a fictional stone the agency calls a "Sopru" that is said to possess the power to synchronize and alter the emotions of its holder with those around them — accompanied by an ominous voiceover repeating the phrase "Be suspicious" throughout. The video ends with the word "Bad" and the EP's release date.
"Golden Hour: Part 5" comes roughly four months after Ateez released its 13th EP "Golden Hour: Part 4" in February, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and broke the band's own record for first-week album sales in the United States.
The band also recently concluded its world tour "In Your Fantasy," which ran from July last year through April. The tour spanned 12 cities in North America, three in Japan and nine across Asia and Australia.
Ateez debuted under KQ Entertainment in October 2018 with its first EP, “Treasure EP.1: All to Zero.” The octet, comprising Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho, is known for hits such as “Wonderland” (2019), “Answer” (2020) and “Deja Vu” (2021).
