Son Heung-min sets up 2 goals in LAFC's Concacaf cup win

Son Heung-min has recorded two assists to push his Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) to the brink of the final of a Concacaf tournament.
LAFC defeated the Mexican side Deportivo Toluca FC 2-1 in the first leg of the semifinals at the Concacaf Champions Cup at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Son found Timothy Tillman for the opening goal in the 51st minute, but Toluca drew even in the 73rd minute courtesy of Jesus Ricardo Angulo.
Then, with the match headed for a draw, Son set up Nkosi Tafari for a header on a free kick to cap the narrow victory.
Son now has 14 assists in 14 matches in all competitions this season, including six in the Concacaf tournament. This was the fourth match this season in which Son has set up multiple goals.
The second leg of the semifinals will be played at Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca, Mexico, at 9:30 p.m. next Wednesday. The away goals rule will apply.
This year's Concacaf Champions Cup began with 27 clubs from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago and the Dominican Republic.
The other semifinal series pits MLS club Nashville SC of against Tigres UANL of Liga MX. Tigres took the opening leg 1-0 on Tuesday.
