Actor Ji Ye-eun and choreographer Vata are in a romantic relationship, the artists' agencies confirmed on Monday.
“Ji Ye-eun and Vata, who have been colleagues, are now dating,” Ji’s agency, CP Entertainment, said in a statement. “We ask for your warm support.”
“The two will continue their good relationship,” Vata’s agency, ARA, also said.
Ji and Vata were seen together at the Waterbomb Seoul 2025 music festival in July, during which Vata performed with Choongju Ji-C — a project K-pop group comprising Ji and comedian Jee Seok-jin that debuted in June 2025 — for its song “Milkshake” (2025). Vata also served as the choreographer for the song.
The two reportedly met at church and were close friends before they developed romantic feelings for each other.
Ji debuted in the web drama “How To” in 2017 and has since appeared in entertainment and game shows such as “Saturday Night Live Korea,” which ran from 2011 to 2017 and was then rebooted in 2021, and “Running Man” (2010–).
Vata is the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz and finished as runner-up on Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter” in 2022. He is known as the choreographer behind “like Jennie” (2025), a solo track by Blackpink member Jennie.
