Participants sample royal confections and medicinal tea during Gyeongbok Palace's  saenggwabang program in the royal residence's  sojubang on April 8 in Seoul. The saenggwabang was a section of Gyeongbok Palace's sojubang, or royal kitchen, where desserts and special dishes for the king and queen — including sweets, porridge and other delicacies — were prepared during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).
