Kotra to host annual Job Fair for International Students in June

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) will host its annual Job Fair for International Students in June. Kotra expects around 100 companies to attend.
 
This year's Job Fair for International Students will take place at Coex Hall B in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, on June 1 and 2.

The Job Fair for International Students is a subsection of Kotra's Global Talent Fair, which also includes other events, such as the Job Fair for Foreign Invested Companies and the Job Fair for Overseas Employment.
 
International students who sign up for the job fair will meet companies looking to hire foreigners and participate in on-site job interviews. Registration is free and currently available through the job fair's website.
 
While the list of participating companies hasn't been finalized, Kotra expects around 100 Korean companies and approximately 2,500 international job seekers to attend the job fair.
 
During last year's Job Fair for International Students, 102 companies — including Amorepacific, Hankook Tire & Technology and Samsung C&T's construction division — attended. 
 
After the list of participating companies is finalized, job seekers will be able to apply to interview for individual companies. Though only those selected by the companies will be able to schedule interviews, attendees will be able to meet with company representatives and ask on-site if interview slots are still available.
 
The job fair will also offer various programs, from special lectures to career consultations and visa support sessions.
 
Last year, government organizations such as the National Institute of International Education, the Ministry of Justice and the Seoul Global Center set up booths to provide relevant information for international students.
 
K-campus, a platform for international students run by the Korea JoongAng Daily, was also in attendance, hosting events and sharing career information.
