Girl group Mamamoo to launch world tour in June to mark its 12th debut anniversary

Girl group Mamamoo will launch a large-scale world tour beginning on June 19 to mark its 12th debut anniversary, the group announced Friday through its official social media channels.

An announcement poster featuring the four Mamamoo members, Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa, was released Friday. After kicking off in Seoul on June 19, the tour will head to Kaohsiung, Macau, Singapore, Manila, New York, Chicago, Fort Worth, Cedar Park, Los Angeles, San Jose, Tacoma and Hong Kong.

The poster also included the phrase “And more,” suggesting additional cities will be announced later.

The official name of the tour was not yet released.

The Seoul concert carries special meaning as it falls on the group’s debut anniversary. Mamamoo debuted on June 19, 2014, and is expected to celebrate the milestone with its fandom, MooMoo, at the opening show.

The tour will also coincide with a full-group comeback, the first in four years, set for early June. The group is expected to perform new songs alongside live stages built around its catalog and career narrative.

Mamamoo debuted in 2014 and consists of four members: Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa. The girl group is known for its hits like "Um Oh Ah Yeh,” (2016), "You're the best" (2016), "Décalcomanie" (2016), "Yes I am" (2017), "Starry Night," "HIP" and "AYA" (2020).
