The Korea Exchange (KRX), Korea's main bourse operator, said Thursday it plans to host an international conference on corporate governance jointly with a global nonprofit organization in Seoul this month.
The ICGN Korea Conference 2026, scheduled to take place on April 14, will explore the rapidly evolving corporate governance and stewardship landscape in Korea and abroad.
The event will be jointly organized by the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), a global nonprofit governance organization founded in 1995.
ICGN was established to promote high corporate governance standards and investor stewardship, with members in over 40 countries, including large public pension funds and asset managers.
Among the participants are Jen Sisson, CEO of ICGN, and Kathlyn Collins, the vice president of Matthews Asia, a San Francisco-based investment fund with $6.9 billion under its management.
