Boy band GOT7’s Yugyeom has been selected as K-pop fans’ “spring crush,” according to fan voting platform Pincic.

In a poll asking which K-pop star gives off a heart-fluttering, springlike first impression, Yugyeom ranked first with 27,379 votes. He was followed by fromis_9’s Baek Ji-heon with 24,825 votes, while Cortis’s Keonho came in third with 22,458 votes. The poll ran from Feb. 27 to March 13.

According to Pincic, Yugyeom’s caring and sweet image has resonated with fans, as he frequently expresses affection for the group’s fandom, iGOT7. The platform added that the result is especially meaningful as the artist has been on a temporary hiatus while serving his mandatory military duty since September last year.

“Fans continue to show unwavering support regardless of the artist’s activities. They maintain a strong sense of fandom and loyalty even when the artist is unable to actively engage with them,” a Pincic spokesperson said.

In collaboration with the Korea JoongAng Daily, Pincic hosts weekly polls on a wide range of topics related to K-pop artists.
