Incheon will host the 2026 First Global Challenge, one of the world’s largest international youth robotics competitions, in October, according to city officials on Thursday.

The bid to host the competition was pursued based on global networks and experience in robotics industry cooperation built through the international youth robotics competition Robotex International, which was held in Incheon last year.
