K-campus welcomed international students participating in the fifth batch of its University Ambassadors program to share their experiences of campus life in Korea.

To officially launch the program, K-campus held an orientation at the JoongAng Ilbo Building in Mapo District, western Seoul, on Friday, where they learned more about their roles as ambassadors.

The ambassadors from 15 countries, including the United States, India, Brazil and Malaysia, will share their campus life, how they prepared to study in Korea and their experiences preparing for jobs through online and offline platforms. For the fifth batch, 25 students from 16 universities nationwide, including Seoul National University, Yonsei University and Jeonbuk National University, were selected.

“I really enjoyed the orientation since I was able to learn more about what the program stands for, and I’m excited to share my tips and stories that come from my experience of living here in Korea for several years,” said K-campus ambassador Susan Sofia Sarmeinto Ortiz from Colombia.

“I will try my utmost to share the best I can with the students who are here with visions and goals.”

K-campus is a platform for international students operated by the Korea JoongAng Daily, providing information on life, universities and jobs in Korea. K-campus has run the University Ambassadors program biannually since February 2024. The fifth batch will run for five months, through July.
