AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk snags three wins at Korean Music Awards

Lee Chan-hyuk of sibling duo AKMU [JOONGANG ILBO]
Singer Lee Chan-hyuk of sibling duo AKMU won three awards at the 23rd Korean Music Awards (KMA) held Thursday evening.
Lee received the most awards at the ceremony, which was livestreamed on Melon and YouTube. Lee won Song of the Year and Best Pop Song for “Endangered Love” (2025) and Best Pop Album for “Eros” (2025).
“Eros” was Lee's first solo full-length album in two years and nine months since his solo debut full-length album “Error” (2022). “Eros” received critical and commercial success.
Jennie of girl group Blackpink also won two awards: Best K-pop Album for her solo full-length album “Ruby” (2025) and Best K-pop Song for the song “Like Jennie” (2025).
Rookie of the Year went to singer-songwriter Woo Hui-jun, and singer-songwriter Hanroro won the Artist of the Year award.
Album of the Year was awarded to indie band Chudahye Chagis for its full-length album “Sosuminjok” (2025).
Singer-songwriter Kwon Tree, rappers Sik-K and Lil Moshpit also won awards at this year’s KMA.
The KMA is an annual music awards ceremony that prides itself on honoring music and musicians based solely on their “musical quality” rather than sales or other external factors. The Kakao Creative Foundation sponsored this edition.
