As Korea's status as a global concert destination continues to rise, Inspire Arena, a multipurpose venue within Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon, has expanded its private viewing area to offer a premium experience to concertgoers.

The venue recently added 19 skyboxes to its third floor, bringing the total number to 25, as well as a dedicated private lobby and lounge for skybox users.

A skybox is a private suite — complete with an exclusive balcony — that overlooks the arena.

The move comes as demand grows for luxury hospitality experiences at entertainment venues worldwide. While private suites are available at several sports stadiums in Korea, they remain relatively rare at concert venues.

Since opening in late 2023, Inspire Arena has hosted more than 100 high-profile events, including concerts by major K-pop and international artists, from Blackpink’s Jennie and Stray Kids to Zedd. Cortis and Le Sserafim are also scheduled to perform there in July.

The new skyboxes can accommodate between 12 and 35 guests, depending on their size.

Within the suites, which are furnished with lounge seating and storage space, guests can access five-star hotel catering services — including champagne and charcuterie — from the integrated resort while watching performances by their favorite artists, hosting private gatherings or even conducting business meetings.

But the premium experience begins even before guests step into a skybox. Those who have skybox tickets have access to complimentary parking, a dedicated VIP entrance, a private lobby and welcome refreshments.

While corporate clients currently comprise the majority of skybox users, Inspire plans to introduce limited individual bookings for select performances in the future.

The skybox experience is also closely tied to the resort’s other offers. Because the arena, hotel, restaurants, retail outlets and entertainment facilities are connected within the same complex, visitors can easily extend a night out at a concert into a longer stay.

“Our vision for Inspire is to ensure that every moment from arrival to departure is curated into a single, cohesive entertainment experience,” said Kim Myung-sun, the head of partnerships at Inspire, who oversees skybox operations.

“We invite customers to move beyond the traditional inconveniences of live events and instead embrace an elevated […] environment designed around comfort and exclusivity.”
