Tomorrow X Together sets Aug. 19 release for fifth Japanese single ‘Setsuna Hanabi’

The group’s first Japanese release in 10 months will arrive with four tracks and a live performance at Tokyo Garden Theater.

Boy band Tomorrow X Together will release its fifth Japanese single “Setsuna Hanabi” on Aug. 19, its agency BigHit Music said Tuesday.

“Setsuna Hanabi” will be the band’s first Japanese release in 10 months, since its third Japanese full-length album “Starkissed,” released in October last year.

The new release will consist of four tracks — three original songs and a different version of its lead track. Information about the lead track will be disclosed at a later date, according to the agency.

On the day of its release, Tomorrow X Together will hold a live performance at Tokyo Garden Theater.

The band also recently revealed a motion logo for its upcoming release during its concert in Hyogo last Wednesday, which featured a flame-inspired logo on a giant screen, according to the agency.

Tomorrow X Together debuted in 2019 with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star.” The quintet consists of Soobin, Hueningkai, Beomgyu, Yeonjun and Taehyun. The band debuted in Japan in 2020 with the single "Magic Hour."

The band wrapped up the Japan leg of its special concerts last Wednesday, celebrating the seventh anniversary of its debut. The tour visited Aichi, Chiba, Fukuoka and Hyogo.

Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai are also scheduled to appear on Nippon TV’s "The Music Day 2026" on July 4 and perform Japanese singer-songwriter Yonezu Kenshi's “Lemon” (2020).
