Mandatory military service hasn't stopped Seventeen, with the band refraining from going on a full hiatus despite six of its Korean members currently completing their mandatory military service and two more set to enlist this month.

The boy band's different subunit and solo activities will have produced five albums, seven digital singles and 56 performances by the end of this year, including a world tour that ended in April and fan meet and greets in May and June.

CxM, the duo of S.Coups and Mingyu, which released the EP "Hype Vibes" in September of last year, held its "CxM [Double Up] Live Party" shows from January to April, while DX X Seungkwan dropped an album in January and held a tour from April to July.

V8, the duo subunit The8 and Vernon, also released music in January and June, while Dino released an EP in August through his alter ego Picheolin.

Jun, meanwhile, released his first Chinese EP "9" on Sept. 28, while Jeonghan X Joshua, the band's latest subunit, will release its first EP, "Dreamscape," on Oct. 19.

Seventeen debuted under Pledis Entertainment, now a HYBE label, in 2015.

Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi, Vernon, DK and Mingyu are currently completing their mandatory service, while Seungkwan and Dino are set to enlist together in the Army Band on Oct. 26. Jeonghan, who began his social service in Sept. 2024, completed his obligations in June, while S.Coups is exempt due to a knee injury. Members Joshua, Jun and The8 are foreign nationals and not subject to conscription in Korea.
