![A monitor at Hana Bank in Myeong-dong, central Seoul, shows the Kospi closing in on 2,300 on Monday and hitting a two-year low. The index, which tumbled sharply and lost 28 points during the day, recovered at the last minute. The won edged closer to 1,300 won against the dollar. [YONHAP]](https://image.koreajoongangdaily.com/11392418.jpg?imageId=11392418&width=240&height=184&format=webp&format=jpg)
