![President Yoon Suk-yeol shares his views on the recent surge in drug crime cases in the country during a 100-minute televised meeting at the Yeongbin-gwan, also known as the State Guest House, on Thursday. Yoon said ″the country was drug-free a decade ago″ and pointed out that crimes were not efficiently addressed and the police were investigating the cases instead of prosecutors. President Yoon added that the falling price of drugs in the country is also a sign that the country has not been able to crack down on drug crimes effectively.
