![A Coffee Bean shop in Seoul is pictured on Tuesday. From Tuesday, the coffee franchise has raised prices 100 to 300 won (8 to 24 cents) on some of its coffee drinks. The latest hike on coffee prices comes just three months after the coffee franchise raised prices citing increasing commodity costs including higher milk prices. A small Americano coffee is now sold for 5,000 won instead of 4,900 won, while a latte now costs 5,600 won instead of 5,400 won. Cold brew coffee is now sold for 6,700 won, up 300 won. Inflation pressure has become the biggest threat not only on daily expenses but also on the economy. ![An Air Seoul employee serves inflight food at Coffee Bean's branch in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, that was redecorated to resemble the inside of a plane on Tuesday. The budget airline said it has joined hands with the coffee company to provide inflight experiences for customers who are longing for overseas trips since the Covid-19 pandemic started. Thanks to the growing number of people receiving vaccinations across the world, some countries have been opening their boarders, but the upsurge of daily cases in several countries including those in Europe means restrictions have been re-implemented, a blow to the travel industry.
