The KT Wiz announced Friday that left-hander Logan Allen has been signed as an injury replacement for ace Caleb Boushley.

Allen will make $125,000 to fill in for Boushley for six weeks, the Wiz added.

KBO teams are allowed to sign temporary replacements for foreign players sidelined for a minimum of six weeks.

Boushley is out with a shoulder injury that the Wiz said Tuesday will keep him out for four to six weeks. The right-hander will be reevaluated in three weeks.

Boushley was tied for the KBO lead with seven wins before hitting the sidelines. He had a 3.16 ERA over 62 2/3 innings in 11 starts after throwing 22 scoreless innings across his first four starts — the longest streak for a foreign pitcher at the start of his KBO career.

Allen pitched for another KBO team, the NC Dinos, in 2025. He went 7-12 with a 4.53 ERA in 32 starts and was not brought back for 2026.

He pitched for Canada at the World Baseball Classic in March and landed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers after the tournament.

In 12 appearances for the Oklahoma City Comets in Triple-A — 11 starts — he went 2-4 with a 6.08 ERA, 36 strikeouts and 29 walks.

The Wiz said Allen's KBO experience should help him hit the ground running as a fill-in. He is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on Sunday.
