Pregnant women in Seoul will be able to avoid waiting in line at major events hosted by the city and will receive discounts at the city’s cultural and sports facilities.
While Korea contemplates expanding the types of people eligible for vaccine pass exemption, health authorities say pregnant women are not likely to be included.
Vaccine reservations for adolescents aged 16 and 17, as well as for booster shot reservations for high-risk groups, will open from 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Minors aged 12 to 17 and pregnant women will be eligible for Covid-19 vaccinations next month, and booster shots will be offered people over the age of 59 and front-line medical workers.
