A senior Korean diplomat said Wednesday that she will request the United States to move forward swiftly with an agreement on the process that will enable Korea to enrich uranium and reprocess spent nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes.
Korea and Britain agreed to strengthen their cooperation in the nuclear sector, including the construction of new power plants, the Industry Ministry said Tuesday.
