Captain of grounded ferry never manned bridge in perilous channel, says Coast Guard
The captain of the passenger ferry Queen Jenuvia II is under investigation for gross negligence after the vessel ran aground. The route deviation alert system was also turned off, raising concerns about the Mokpo Vessel Traffic Service's oversight.
