The Korean Supreme Court has finalized heavy sentences for a group that kidnapped and killed a Korean tourist in their 30s in Pattaya, Thailand, in May 2024.
The three men convicted of murdering a Korean tourist in Thailand and dumping the mutilated body in a reservoir were sentenced to prison in their first trial on Thursday.
A suspect alleged to have murdered a Korean tourist in Thailand was apprehended by police in North Jeolla, said Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency on Monday. The police arrested him at his residence in North Jeolla at 7:46 p.m. on Sunday.
