Former Korean national team midfielder Koo Ja-cheol has shifted his career toward football administration, visiting the AFC headquarters to study how the sport is managed across Asia and how different countries develop their programs.
Midfielder Koo Ja-cheol, who captained Korea at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, announced his retirement from football and outlined his upcoming role at Jeju SK FC.
After stints in Germany and Qatar, Jeju United announced Tuesday that Koo Ja-cheol will rejoin the K League after 11 years abroad.
