A fishing vessel that went out to sea carrying illegally employed foreign crew members has been caught, the Coast Guard said Saturday.
Two Chinese fishing boats were seized near the border island of Baengnyeong in the Yellow Sea on suspicion of illegal fishing in South Korean waters, the Coast Guard said Saturday.
The Korea Coast Guard has increased efforts against illegal Chinese fishing, resulting in fewer vessel crossings and enhanced enforcement strategies.
