Disposable cups used at 14 coffee franchise and four fast food restaurants amounted to some 1 billion in 2021 — a significant increase from the average annual disposable cups of 780 million that had been used between 2017 and 2019.
The government is promising 118.9 billion won ($99 million) for research into environment-friendly vehicles and autonomous driving technology this year.
