University taekwondo festival opens

University athletes compete in the recognized poomsae (a sequence of techniques) event during the Daegu 2026 World University Taekwondo Festival at Keimyung University's Seongseo Campus in Daegu on July 6. Now in its third year, the festival is jointly organized by World Taekwondo and the International University Sports Federation, bringing together collegiate athletes from around the world for poomsae and sparring competitions.
