AB6IX wrapped up its seventh anniversary concert “6IX to Seven” and thanked fans ahead of a temporary hiatus, during which the members will continue their individual activities.
 
The concert took place at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan District, central Seoul, on Saturday and Sunday.

It began with the song “Hollywood” (2019), which fans first heard during Mnet’s reality competition series “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017, when members Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi starred in the show as trainees.
 
The boy band also performed tracks such as “Resonance” (2022), “Surreal” (2020) and “Blaze” (2023), as well as their latest releases, including “Given.”
 
The members said that they are “grateful to [their] fans who have been part of our shining moments of youth” and asked them to look forward to their return.
 
“We thank the fans who quietly stayed by our side through every moment,” the members said. “Please look forward to the day when we return as AB6IX and repay the love that we have received from all of you.”
 
AB6IX's contract with its agency Brandnew Music expired on Monday.
 
When Brandnew Music announced the contract was set to expire in April, the agency explained that it was “continuing meaningful conversations to discuss a contract renewal with the members” at the time while also “respecting and supporting the decisions of the members, who are heading toward a new start.”
 
AB6IX debuted in May 2019 with the EP “B: Complete.” The band currently comprises four members: Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi.
