Digital art venue Arte Museum and BTS teamed up for a large-scale immersive exhibition inspired by the band's newest album "Arirang," with shows in Las Vegas, Busan and New York, the museum's operator d'strict announced on Friday.

Titled "Arte Museum X BTS The City Arirang," the exhibit debuted Wednesday at the museum's branch in Las Vegas and is set to run through June 17. The same show will open at the Arte Museum in Busan on June 5 and in New York at a date yet to be announced.

The show is part of the band's "The City" project, which transforms each tour city into an extension of the concert experience through partnerships with local venues and attractions. BTS is embarking on its "Arirang" world tour, launched last month in Goyang, Gyeonggi, spanning 85 shows in 34 cities around the world.

The central space of the BTS exhibit is the "Arirang Garden," which features five original media artworks. "No. 29"  projects the silhouettes of BTS's seven members against a backdrop of bell sounds; "Body to Body" visualizes Korean rhythms in the album's signature red tones; "Swim" renders the chart-topping song's soundscape through the imagery of seven orcas; "2.0" transforms the entire exhibition space into an oversized music video set; and "Into the Sun" incorporates the cityscapes of Las Vegas, New York and Busan.

Arte Museum added that its signature "Wave" installation — a floor-to-ceiling digital artwork depicting a massive rolling ocean wave — has also been updated to an "Arirang Wave" version for the exhibition.

There will also be an interactive "Live Sketchbook" space and cafe themed around BTS to create an immersive experience from entry to exit.

Arte Museum will also serve as an official stop in the band's stamp rally, a scavenger hunt-style event in which BTS fans scan QR codes at participating venues across all three cities to collect digital stamps and earn rewards.

"This collaboration adds BTS's music to that foundation, making it a single work of art created together by two brands," a d'strict spokesperson said. "From Las Vegas to Busan and New York, we will deliver an unforgettable audio-visual experience to audiences around the world."
