'Boys II Planet' alums team up to create new K-pop duo Flare U

Singers Chuei Liyu and Kang Woo-jin will debut next month as a K-pop duo named Flare U, their agency FNC Entertainment said Friday.
 
The two singers have been teaming up ever since competing in cable channel Mnet's K-pop audition program, "Boys II Planet" (2025), last year.

As a duo, the two will release new music and take part in Mnet's KCON Japan 2026 event next month.
 
The name Flare U means that the two singers will shine brighter together with their individual charms, according to FNC Entertainment.
