EXO's D.O. voted K-pop star with 'Michelin-class taste' by fans

Boy band EXO’s D.O. has been selected as the K-pop star with “Michelin-class taste,” according to fan voting platform Picnic. The term refers to the Michelin Guide, which awards Michelin stars to a select group of outstanding restaurants.

In the poll, held from March 20 to April 3, D.O. ranked first with 5,220 votes. Mingyu of Seventeen followed with 1,606 votes, while Rahee of girl group Ifeye placed third with 1,530 votes.

D.O. demonstrated a refined palate through tvN’s reality show “GBRB: Joy Pops Laugh Pops” (2025), where he showcased his appreciation for food and culture while visiting local restaurants in Cancun, Mexico.

According to the platform, the results reflect growing fan interest in artists’ lifestyles and food preferences, extending beyond their work in music and acting.

In collaboration with the Korea JoongAng Daily, Picnic hosts weekly polls on a wide range of topics related to K-pop artists.
