K-pop star Taemin is set to take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, according to his agency Galaxy Corporation.
He will perform on the Mojave stage in Indio, California, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. on Saturday. He will also perform on April 18.
Taemin is the first Korean male solo artist to be included in Coachella’s official lineup and hold a solo stage, said the agency.
The artist has built fans’ excitement for his performances with an appearance on the popular U.S. talk show “The Jennifer Hudson Show” (2022–). The episode aired on April 1. He also released his first English-language digital single, “Long Way Home,” a pop R&B song, on March 27.
At Coachella, Taemin is expected to sing a medley of his hit tracks and unveil new ones that have never been performed before.
The festival marks Taemin’s first major global appearance since joining Galaxy Corporation, which is also home to singer and rapper G-Dragon.
“Taemin is preparing a stage that goes beyond a simple performance, instead presenting something resembling a work of art,” said Galaxy Corporation in a press release.
The 2026 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will be livestreamed on YouTube. K-pop acts BigBang and Katseye are also scheduled to perform at this year's festival.
Taemin debuted as a member of the boy band SHINee in 2008 and subsequently made his solo debut in 2014.
