Koo held a separate meeting with the co-founders of Skild AI, Deepak Pathak and Abhinav Gupta, to review the potential of the physical AI industry while observing a demonstration of a humanoid equipped with the Silicon Valley-based company's program.

“The meetings reflect LG's commitment to delivering prompt results by clarifying its AI strategy and priorities in the physical AI business,” LG said.

The LG chief also visited the headquarters of LG Technology Ventures, the group's investment arm based in Silicon Valley, to consider future investment strategies.

“I ask [LG Technology Ventures] to play a role as a forward base that can establish a major pillar of the group's future portfolio through proactive investment amid the AI paradigm shift,” Koo was quoted as saying.

LG Technology Ventures currently operates funds worth $890 million, investing in various countries, including the United States, Canada and Israel.
