Boy band Highlight member Yang Yo-seop will hold a solo concert in Seoul this May, returning to the stage on his own for the first time in about three years, his agency Around Us Entertainment announced Friday.
Yang will hold the “Fade In” concerts on May 30 and 31 at Ticketlink Live Arena in Songpa District, southern Seoul.
The concert marks Yang’s first solo show since “Bitter Sweet,” which took place in June 2023. He is expected to present a broader musical range through a setlist built around live vocals and solo material, according to Around Us Entertainment.
Following the Seoul shows, Yang will take the concert to other parts of Asia, with stops in Tokyo on July 4 and 5, Singapore on July 11 and Taipei on July 25.
Yang, the main vocalist of Highlight, released his third solo EP “Unloved Echo” in February. The album recorded his highest first-week sales as a solo artist, according to his agency, and the title track “Fade Away” also drew attention for lyrics written solely by Yang himself.

Yang debuted in 2009 as a member of Beast, which later rebranded itself as Highlight, and has released solo music across various genres. He has also been active as an actor, appearing on dramas such as “Let’s Eat 2” (2015) and “Seo-young, My Daughter” (2012-2013).
