Visitors flocked to Yeojwa Stream area in Jinhae District, Changwon, South Gyeongsang, on Friday, the opening day of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, Korea’s largest spring flower festival.
Tourists strolled beneath rows of cherry blossoms and took in the spring scenery as the annual festival got underway. The area, one of the best-known cherry blossom spots in Jinhae, drew large crowds on the first day of the event.
Election officials were also seen in the area on Friday afternoon, encouraging people to vote, adding a civic message to the festive atmosphere as visitors gathered to enjoy the start of the spring flower season.
