Batting fifth and playing right field, Lee went 0-for-4 as the Giants fell to the New York Yankees 7-0 at Oracle Park in San Francisco on Wednesday.
Lee grounded out against starter Max Fried with two outs and runners at the corners in the bottom of the first inning. He hit a flyout to center in the fourth inning and then led off the seventh inning by lining out to left.
Finally, he hit another lineout, this time to center field, in the ninth inning.
The Yankees put up a five-spot against starter Logan Webb in the top of the second en route to a breezy win, as they outhit the Giants 10-3.

Lee is the only Korean player to be on an opening day roster this season. Kim Ha-seong of the Atlanta Braves and Song Sung-mun of the San Diego Padres are injured, while Kim Hye-seong of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Go Woo-suk of the Detroit Tigers and Bae Ji-hwan of the New York Mets are currently in the minor leagues for their respective clubs.
