Mingles was named the best restaurant in Korea by "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" on Wednesday.
The establishment placed No.4 on the overall list.
During the awards ceremony held in Hong Kong on Wednesday evening, a total of six restaurants from Korea landed on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list this year, including Onjium at 14th, Eatanic Garden at 26th, Mosu at 41th, Bium at 43rd and 7th Door at 49th.
This year's recognition was two more than last year's four Korean entries.
Mingles is a contemporary Korean fine dining establishment in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. The three-Michelin-star restaurant secured the highest ranking among Korean restaurants on the list last year, placing fifth.

The Chairman in Hong Kong was named the best restaurant in Asia for 2026.
"It means evrerything to us to win this award in Hong Kong, " said chef-owner Danny Yip. The Chairman is a renowned Cantonese restaurant in Central, Hong Kong.

Cho Eun-hee of Onjium was honored as Asia’s Best Female Chef 2026.
Prior to the announcement of the top 50 list, eight Korean restaurants — seven in Seoul and one in Busan — made it to the extended top 100 list which was announced on March 12: Restaurant SAN in Gangnam District, southern Seoul; Solbam in Gangnam District; Born and Bred in Seongdong District; and Alla Prima in Gangnam District placed 54th to 57th on the extended list, while Soigné in Gangnam District placed 74th, Jungsik in Gangnam District placed 87th, Kwonsooksoo in Gangnam District placed 98th and Fiotto in Busan placed 99th.
Asia's 50 Best Restaurants is a regional spinoff of The World's 50 Best Restaurants. Launched in 2013, it aims to celebrate gastronomy and serve as a global dining guide. The annual list is compiled from votes by 350 restaurant industry experts across Asia who have deep knowledge and expertise on the continent's restaurant scene.
