The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) said Monday it will operate a large-scale booth for domestic companies at an international beauty fair in Italy later this week to showcase K-beauty products.
A total of 279 companies will participate at the Korean pavilion at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, which will take place in Bologna, Italy, from Thursday to Saturday, Kotra said.
The pavilion will host companies presenting a wide range of K-beauty products.
Kotra will also facilitate on-site consultations between participating Korean companies and buyers from 26 countries, leveraging its network of 132 overseas trade centers.
Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, widely regarded as one of the most influential global events in the beauty industry, has been a landmark exhibition since its introduction in 1968. About 3,000 companies from 65 countries are expected to showcase their products this year, with around 250,000 visitors anticipated.
