A man in his 20s was arrested at Korea University after entering a women’s restroom, with police looking into whether illegal filming may have taken place.
The man was first caught by campus security around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday after he was seen exiting a women's restroom at the Korea University campus in Seongbuk District, central Seoul.
Police from the Seongbuk Police Precinct were later dispatched to campus, arresting the man on suspicion of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.

The man had a tablet PC at the time of his arrest, and the police will examine the tablet PC through digital forensics to determine whether any illegal filming took place. While the man said he was a Korea University student, the police will also investigate if he is actually the university's student.
